Susan G. Komen Louisiana hosts Second Annual Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference
BATON ROUGE, LA, May 5, 2020 – Komen Louisiana announces our Second Annual Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Conference will be held online June 12 and 13, 2020 via Facebook Live and Zoom. The conference is geared towards those living with metastatic breast cancer, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Continuing education hours for doctors, nurses, and social workers are available, and those interested in continuing education must register in advance on Eventbrite.
Metastatic, or stage IV breast cancer, is breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body such as the bone, lungs, liver, or brain.
We are excited to offer two days of learning, fellowship and the most current information on treatments, patient support, and national issues related to metastatic breast cancer.
